This reminds me of the "Davidka" rocket - a weapon that was used with great success during the Six-Day War. I saw one in a monument in downtown Jerusalem, and asked the guide just how the infamous weapon actually worked. "It really doesn't do anything, other than to make a lot of noise," he explained. "But it sure scared the @#% out of the Arabs!" (Something like the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees???)
