Mel Gibson has now compared sending soldiers to Iraq with the "human sacrifice" practiced by the subjects of his upcoming movie.

This ranks as the second stupidest thing Mr. Gibson has said in the last few months. But this time he doesn't have the excuse of having been completely toasted when he said it.
